Anoka County Pheasants Forever: Established in 1984 as the 13th Chapter

Minnesota Chapters


Minnesota Chapters in 2009:

  • Since 1982 PF has grown to 75 Pheasants Forever chapters and two Quail Forever chapters in Minnesota.
  • Completed 1,027 wildlife habitat projects benefitting over 11,200 acres.
  • Acquired 1,971 acres of land for public hunting as state-managed wildlife areas or federal waterfowl production areas.

Anoka County Pheasants Forever 2009 Activities

  • Annual Banquet
  • Pine tree planting at Kunkel WMA in Isanti County with help from Anoka County 4-H
  • Game Fair at Armstrong Ranch Kennels
  • Participated in the 2009 Build A Wildlife Area Campaign
  • Youth Day at Beaverbrook Tri-County Sportsmen Club
  • Sent one youth to Deep Portage Upland Camp near Hackensack, MN
  • Sponsored a youth to attend The Ultimate Nature Experience (T.U.N.E) Camp
  • Sponsored a Broken Wing Society hunt
  • Donated food plot seed to Capable Partners for an Isanti County WMA
  • Donated funds to Capable Partners
  • Sponsored food plot/habitat program for landowners
