Minnesota Habitat Fund
Anoka County PF is one of the founding chapters of the Minnesota Habitat Fund (MHF). The MHF, established in 1998, combines the resources of Pheasant Forever chapters statewide for the purpose of land acquisition.
The Anoka County Chapter has contributed $120,000 over the past twelve years to this fund. To date, the MHF has contributed over $2 million to 53 land acquisition projects providing Minnesota with 10,000 WMA acres at an overall cost of $14.4 million. This is just one of the many programs that help make Pheasants Forever the leader in the development, enhancement and protection of wildlife habitat.
Below please find a map of Minnesota highlighting the locations of the 47 land acquisitions including a table identifying each project name, acres involved, county location, total dollars spent on the project and total MHF dollars invested in the projects.
